We pick up our story as David picks up five stones and charges onto the battlefield to fight a giant. After King David comes King Solomon, and then the divided kingdoms of Israel and Judah. Yet through all the division, God was still reaching and preaching through prophets for His people to be in covenant relationship with Him.
When we finish this quarter—and these one thousand years of history—we will sit together on the mountain to listen to the Son of David, Jesus Christ, preach His first sermon. Join us on the next leg of our one-year journey from Genesis to Revelation as we discover a faithful God, even to a faithless people.
