SPRING 2023 CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Are you ready for Easter? As a focal point for your church, take advantage of teaching tools and small group resources to capitalize on one of the church’s biggest events of the year. This spring Easter Sunday falls amid an entire series on salvation. Spend five weeks with every age level of your church studying Jesus’ sacrifice on Calvary and how we can apply that good news to our lives through the new birth. Surrounding series help dig deeper into God’s Word and grow in Him at home and at church.
SERIES 1: PARABLES OF KINGDOM TRUTHS
Jesus taught some of His best lessons through parables, or stories with a spiritual application. This series will take a close look at four of those parables: the Two Debtors, the Talents, the Prodigal Son, and the Rich Man and Lazarus. As we look into these sacred stories, we will be challenged to grow closer to our amazing God.
SERIES 2: PORTRAITS OF SALVATION
Effective teaching leads to transformation, and the new birth is a core way in which God transforms us. This series studies how God desires to save us. With portraits of the lost son, Zacchaeus, the Passover, Calvary, and Nicodemus, all ages will be called to experience the new birth and share that good news with others.
SERIES 3: GOD, OUR JUDGE AND KING
In light of God’s saving power, we are to embrace His call and serve His kingdom. This series walks through the Book of Judges to see how God used judges and prophets to lead and speak to His people. Lessons will explore the accounts of Deborah, Gideon, Samson, and finally Samuel and Saul. No matter how little or much we feel we have to offer God, He is able to use us for His glory, and this series will provide help in answering His call.
