CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Welcome to Rhythms: aligning our heart with God in every season. As we follow the rhythms of a church calendar, this fall season opens with us walking in Jesus' footsteps as His disciples, and it continues as we hear His call to go and make disciples through our church and in our community. We finish with a heart full of thanksgiving for who God is and the many gifts, including spiritual gifts and fruit of the Spirit, He freely gives.
SERIES 1: FOLLOW ME
Jesus walked by a group of fishermen and called to them, "Follow Me." Since then, He continues calling us as His disciples to be salt and light to the world by sharing the good news that He is able and willing to save us from our sins. As we move out of summer into a back-to-school season, this series will help us answer the call to be His disciples and walk closely with Him.
SERIES 2: CHURCH AND COMMUNITY
After Jesus resurrected, He ascended and commanded His disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. The disciples heard and heeded His command, and through the church Jesus is building, we are sharing the gospel starting in our communities and reaching to the ends of the earth. This month we'll embrace the simple but powerful commission for disciples to make disciples.
SERIES 3: JOY IN THANKSGIVING
We have much to be thankful for: Jesus' compassion, spiritual gifts He gives, the fruit He bears from the Spirit, His love toward us and through us, and the invitation to walk in the Spirit. This series highlights how followers of Jesus live with joy in thanksgiving as we reflect on the goodness of God.
