Description
David, a street urchin from the slums, is numbered among the city's 'throwaway kids.' He sells newspapers for food, refusing to steal even a crust of bread.
He rescues a rich man's daughter and is given an opportunity to better himself. But he never forgets his homeless friends and vows to help them if and when he can. It becomes his mission.
Along life's road, Dave faces many obstacles and much prejudice. These setbacks and injustices seemingly put an insurmountable barrier between himself and the dear girl he loves.
