Word Aflame Press Publishing
Each year, Pentecostal Publishing House accepts a limited number of titles to publish under Word Aflame Press and its imprints—WAP Academic and WAP Children. If you have a manuscript you would like Word Aflame Press to publish, please submit it according to our Manuscript Guidelines, which can be downloaded here. If your manuscript is accepted for publication as a Word Aflame Press title, we would assume all of the responsibilities overseeing the book to publication ranging from cover design to editorial oversight.
Publishing Services
Self-publishing can be a daunting task. It requires content development, page layout, cover design, printing, warehousing, inventory control, marketing, and sales. Pentecostal Publishing House (PPH) accepts a limited number of titles for assistance with this process. In most cases, print-ready files are required before we can begin a conversation regarding the cost of publishing. In some cases we are able to provide a quote for the cover design. All associated costs for these services are the author's responsibility. If you are interested in a quote for how much it would cost to self-publish through PPH Print Services, you can contact Jina Crain at jcrain@upci.org. Include in your request the total number of pages, type of binding (hardcover or softcover), page size, and whether you also need a quote for the cover design. Using these publishing services does not guarantee PPH will sell or market your book.
PPH Distribution
For self-published authors already in print, we offer PPH distribution services. All products that are advertised through PPH must first be approved by our New Product Committee. Products that are approved will be added to our inventory and may be made available on our website, in our catalog, and at major events such as General Conference. Because of the large number of inquiries that we receive, we are unable to personally respond to all inquiries or return samples. If you would like to submit your book to be considered for sale by PPH, please mail a review copy to the New Product Committee at the address listed below. Please include a letter with your contact information (address, phone number, etc.), a 3-4 sentence description of the book for marketing purposes, and the retail price. Also include any information about where and how you intend to also market and promote your book.
