There is a great deal of confusion as to what the Bible means when it speaks of Jesus 'sitting' or 'standing' on 'the Right hand of God.' In this small study, the author examines the Biblical motif of God's 'right hand' to ascertain its significance in Biblical thought, especially as it relates to the person of Jesus.
It is hoped that through these pages you will be enlightened with respect to the Biblical use of this phrase as a metaphor of God's Power. Most importantly, it is our prayer you will walk away from this study with greater understanding of the right hand of God as it relates to the mediatory-redemptive work of the glorified Messiah that culminates in the coming eschaton at the close of the human redemptive process.
