We seem to be living in an extremely superficial culture now in the 21st century. The world’s perspective is driven by focusing on maximizing the appearance of our strength while minimizing our actual weaknesses. In His Grace is Sufficient, Candace gives her readers, real life experiences in which God has shown Himself strong by purging certain areas of weakness. This purging ultimately produced spiritual growth in her life. Candace incorporates biblical characters and their weaknesses to exemplify how God’s grace and power strengthened them. Although the bible commends these men and women for their courageous acts of faith, it does not shy away from their flaws and failures. Candace invites readers to spend some time to reflect on their own personal weaknesses and how God’s strength is made perfect in their lives.
