Fear wants to determine the course of our lives. It wants to determine our commitment to God and our willingness to act in faith. Whether we recognize it or not, we’re daily battling against fear, and so long as it goes unaddressed, we’ll likely find ourselves faithless and unproductive in the Kingdom of God.
Yet, Jesus wants us to be overcomers in this struggle. He’s calling us to hear His voice, boldly step out in faith, and courageously obey His will and His Word. When we finish our course in this life, let us not be found timid and fearful concerning the things of God, but rather, by His abundant grace, let us be fearless.
