Five women find friendship around the quilting frame in the Ladies' Auxiliary room at the First Community Church of Crandall. What began as mere weekly quilting sessions soon turn into deep bonds of friendship and loyalty that unite this 'uncommon' group of friends as they face the trials and joys that make up life. Their spirit and courage are admirable, their sense of humor is contagious, and their faith is strong. Females of all ages will be able to identify with 'the women of Crandall.'
