The Gifts of the Spirit were never meant to remain in the pages of scripture. They were meant to be lived out in everyday life.
In 1987, two Bible college professors prayed a simple prayer, “Lord, restore the gifts of Your Spirit to the church as they were in the New Testament.” What came next exceeded anything they might have imagined. A course called Signs and Wonders became a laboratory of faith where biblical teaching and Spirit-led ministry converged. Students didn't merely study healing, prophecy, or other gifts of the Spirit—they experienced them. God confirmed His Word through miraculous healings, prophetic ministry, and demonstrations of His power. And what began in a classroom soon spread through churches around the world as graduates carried these experiences into their ministries.
Based on material from that class, Signs and Wonders offers practical, biblical instruction for understanding and operating in the gifts of the Spirit. This book invites readers to earnestly step out in faith and believe God will do what He has promised to do. In the process, we can expect to see signs and wonders fulfilled as prophesied by the prophet Joel who wrote, “Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy . . . and I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth” (Joel 2:28, 30).
