Synopsis: Love is a word that means many different things to different people. Demonstrating love is essential to being a Christian; because God is love, He expects his children to show that same characteristic. Many different times He demonstrated His love for us. In contrast to His love, many people in our modern age say that they love someone, but as soon as times begin to get a little rough, they are quick to fall out of love and run another direction. This is not how God defines love.
