The happy and secure life of Clarissa Hayes is turned upside down when her Aunt Kate is seriously injured. Fortunately a handsome stranger, Dr. Stephan Grant, enters their lives. Stranded in the little Texas town of Progress because of the severe storm, Stephan works diligently to offer his medical services to Kate and in the process finds that he is unexpectedly drawn to the pretty, petite Clarissa.
