At the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, TODAY show anchor, Al Roker, had a hilarious run-in with a giant stick of butter that sent social media into a frenzy. With #butterman trending on Twitter, celebrities and noncelebrities alike remarked on the scene, which for many was the highlight of the parade. From that event, Donny Willis (a.k.a. the “Butter Man”) has been featured on the TODAY show and a variety of other media outlets.
Borrowing from that experience and many others in his life, Donny seeks to answer questions like: Can big dreams actually become reality? If so, do we just stumble into these dreams, or can we do something to nudge them along? Is it just sheer luck, or is there a science to making dreams come true?
As you walk alongside Donny on his journey unveiling the growth cycle of a dream, you will discover practical ideas you can apply to your own life as you head toward a butter tomorrow.

WHAT'S YOUR DREAM?
You’ve heard it before—be a butcher, a baker, or candlestick maker. Be a president, a concert musician, or a basketball player. All you have to do is work hard enough. But can you? Can an acorn become a rose? Can a sow’s ear become a silk purse? Can a klutz become a graceful ballerina? I don’t think so. But can you fulfill your God-given purpose? Yes! Absolutely. You are uniquely designed to accomplish what you were destined to do.
Think of Good, Butter, Best as your GPS, that calm voice gently directing you from where you are today to where you dream to be. By looking at the growth cycle of a dream readers will learn practical steps to make their daydreams become reality.
As Donny Willis unpacks each step in the growth cycle, you will come to recognize the difference between GOOD dreams, BUTTER dreams, and ultimately the BEST dreams. For those who still have big dreams, hopefully you will see the path forward a little clearer; and, for those whose dreams may be dormant, maybe you'll be encouraged to dream again. Either way, you will benefit greatly from your investment in reading Good, Butter, Best.
