Description
Two boxes hold the plot of this story within their contents. The banker Samuel Ballinger has these containers locked in his vault at the bank, and no one else knows of their existence.
Gerald Turner is his clerk and finds himself an enemy of MR. Ballinger's lawyer and chief advisor. The antagonist, one Ogden Hasting, is a dishonest employee who seeks to get Gerald. a truehearted young man, into trouble. And it seems that the money-hungry Mr. Hasting has won.
The subject of contention is Samuel Ballinger's beautiful daughter, Allison, who is Gerald Turner's heartthrob. Who will come out the victor?
