When these four children are orphaned, they overhear that they will be sent to their grandfather, whom they know as a hard and cold man. They decide to run away to flee the fate they fear their future holds at such a terrifying prospect.
Resourceful youngsters they are! They locate a strange lodging and feel themselves well hidden. Then they learn that their grandfather is looking for them. Can they escape him?
